Juicy Lucy

I live in East Village, which means, good food everywhere.

The other day I went to Whitman's on 9th and 1st ave.

I think this is the best burger I've had in NYC so far.

The Juicy Lucy. YUMMM, there is sizzling melted cheese stuffed in the beef patty.

Introducing the neighbor.

I have never seen her face to face before, but from time to time i can hear her yelling over the phone or to herself or something, when I'm in the hallway either coming home or leaving home.
She plays opera music really loudly during the day.
She also smokes a lot, and my front door is kinda crooked at the top, so the smoke comes into my apartment.
I mean, I smoke too, but damn, I don't like living in it.

Also, she is a "pigeon lady"!!!
There are always a ton of pigeons on the tree outside my window and on the fire escape.
Always wondered why, and today I decided to physically stick my head out of the window and see what was going on. And i see this long cup thing stick out of the neighbor's window and pour bird food into this dish.
She's feeding the pigeons!! Interesting............
They make lots of noise

NY Apartment: Phase 1

So you asked for pictures of my apartment?
This is all I shall show you for now.

Since yesterday, this is pretty much where I spend most my time-- the couch. Well, since the modem is there.... and I don't have a wireless router yet. haaa

Furniture-wise, I only have a bed and couch. I am trying to think of ways to maximize the space and make this apartment super awesome.





And this is the first item put up on the walls of my apartment: A stolen section from a larger photo-- 3 pages of the ghetto black and white printout of tiled 8.5 x 11 papers from the LCD Soundsystem after party. James Murphy!

I'm still waiting for your first Los Angeles post, Kathyoon.
